Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns are a organization in the National Basketball Association.

The Suns were founded in 1968.

The original owner of the organization was Jerry Colangelo, the franchise was later purchased by Steve Kerr.

The suns are a successful team despite never winning a Finals Championship, they have won their conference and competed in The Finals 3 times, in the years 1976, 1993, and 2021.

The suns are currently coached by Monty Williams. The general manager is James Jones and he recently signed an extension to stay with the organization. The suns play in the Footprint Center located in Phoenix Arizona.

Following Steve Nash's retirement, back to back MVP, until the 2020-2021 season the Suns were on a 10 year playoff drought, it was the second longest active drought at the time. They made the playoffs that year and advanced all the way to compete in their 3rd Finals.
